About me
I am white, cisgender, and straight and grew up in Portland. I have always been drawn to people and relationships, and discovered my passion for relational work when first doing my own therapy work as a young adult.
I earned my graduate degree in 2018 in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy, with a focus in Sex Therapy, from Lewis & Clark Graduate School. I am trained in the belief that therapy is political and a space for justice and healing. I enjoy working with a broad spectrum of people and identities, and strive to provide an affirming and comfortable space for all, recognizing that I walk through the world with a limited perspective as a member of many dominant groups. Knowing that I cannot always anticipate what feels safe or unsafe for others, I am dedicated to the long-term work of continuing education, self-reflection, inviting and taking feedback, and learning from my mistakes in order to continue expanding and improving my practices.
In my current season of life, I enjoy a busy life with my partner and young children, finding new recipes to cook, running and hiking, reading, word puzzles, spending time with friends and community, and finding ways to fight for a just and abundant world for us all.
